Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.    Romans 12:2 NIV
Don't burn out; keep yourselves fueled and aflame. Be alert servants of the Master, cheerfully expectant. Don't quit in hard times; pray all the harder. Help needy Christians; be inventive in hospitality.
Romans 12:2 (The Message)

“Hope is the Best Fuel For the Soul!”

HOPE – It’s the key to living a free life.  Free from worry, free from stress, free from anxiety and free from fear.  It’s the “Substance” in our life that keeps us going when circumstances happen that are just out of our control.  It’s the constant welcoming of a thought or multiple thoughts of a desired change.  A thought or vision you bathed in prayer and go to ‘daily’, that fills you with a sense of strength. Strength that you know  …THAT DAY IS COMING.  A knowing because you trust in God and his faithfulness!   Our Hope and Trust in the Lord is a daily prayer and statement to the Lord.  He wants our reliance and He wants our Christmas list for lack of words. He wants us to live like we already have it.  Which isn’t easy, but God knows His children and especially those who are obedient.

Be a person of encouragement and reminder of hope God’s today also.  I love the note a boyfriend left for his fiancé dealing with headaches to remind her of His hope and prayers:

"Honey, my hopes and prayers for you are that my bride will be completely healed of her headaches.  Her fatigue and stress will be lifted completely one day.  A new life together will be started that is guided by God, and filled with God’s joy daily.  A life of happiness, laughter, appreciation, peacefulness in our home, a love for each other that only increases each day, a day of being able to enjoy activities and places together as a couple. Ultimately enjoying what God put together.  A future full of Goodness that’s not just between us…but also our kids.  My hope is my bride is Happy, fulfilled and felt Loved by her husband everyday and by her Lord everyday.   Read this last line slow.. I Love you  – Today – Tomorrow, and everyday afterwards.   Love J”

How wonderful is that!  A good reminder that God uses all of us to speak hope to others. Especially our loved ones.

Remember Hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.
